About Us
Aaron Lewis

Aaron is the owner and principal physiotherapist of Rouse Hill Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre and a graduate of the University of Sydney, completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. He has worked in Rouse Hill since the centre was opened in December 2007. Aaron is currently completing his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.
Aaron has a keen interest in biomechanical and overuse injuries, especially in the hips/pelvis and shoulder/shoulder girdle. This includes identifying the cause of injuries based on technique, posture and skills, with particular experience in dealing with injuries to runners, cricketers, golfers and baseball players based on the biomechanics of their respective techniques. He also has a good understanding of acute and chronic injuries in field sports especially soccer and rugby players and court sports such as netball. He has also provided advice and managed injuries due to repetitive and/or heavy lifting in the workplace.
Currently Aaron is involved with Hawkesbury and North West Sydney Cricket Clubs, NSW sub-district Rugby Union, Blacktown Rugby Union Football Club and is the Head Physiotherapist for Hills Brumbies Soccer Club. He has also worked with local clubs including Rouse Hill Rams Netball, Rouse Hill Renegades Rugby Union, Rouse Hill Wildcats Baseball, Hills District Netball, Rouse Hill Rams Soccer, Penrith Veterans Hockey, Brothers Rugby League and Penrith RSL Soccer.
Outside of work Aaron is a local resident who is married to Alison with 1 child – Jack born in 2010. Other interests include photography, watching movies and playing cricket. Aaron occasionally still plays for NWS Hurricanes where he was active in the development of their home ground, Bruce Purser Reserve in Rouse Hill. Aaron has also played Rugby League, touch football, hockey, volleyball and golf at competitive level.
Tyson Aquilina
Tyson entered the field of injury rehabilitation originally as an accredited exercise physiologist where he developed strong skills in exercise prescription and instruction for clients with a range of orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries, as well as cardiopulmonary, neurological and metabolic conditions including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease and stroke rehabilitation.
After establishing himself as an exercise physiologist, Tyson decided to further his skills and knowledge in the field by going on to further his studies, attaining his Masters in Physiotherapy from Sydney University. Tyson is also a qualified massage therapist and strives to use his skills from all his education in developing treatment plans for his clients.
Inside and outside of the clinic, Tyson has a keen interest in improving sporting performance and promoting physical activity within the local community with experience in leading out-of-school physical activity programs for children and being involved in coaching of various sports. Tyson acknowledges his own junior sporting opportunities and experiences including representative baseball and soccer as a key contributor towards these interests.
Outside of the sporting realm, Tyson is endeavouring into the challenges of fatherhood with his wife, Judith and newborn son, Eli. His other interests include his Jack Russells and his rock band (which are being restricted to the garages at the moment…..luckily).
Simon Quinn
Simon started his career at Westmead Public Hospital, working predominantly in rehabilitation post illness and injury in the acute and subacute settings. Through this he worked extensively with traumatic and musculoskeletal injuries, as well as experience with cardiopulmonary, cardiorespiratory and neurological patients.
Simon’s main interests however, lay with on field and clinic management of sporting injuries, which led him to work closely with teams, including Blacktown Rugby Union, outside of his work at the hospital in order to gain experience and improve these skills, as well as expanding this interest into injury prevention.
Much of this has stemmed from his own junior sporting experiences, where he began from an early age playing cricket, touch football and swimming competitively, as well as dabbling in any other sport he could growing up. Simon continues to play cricket representing North West Sydney Hurricanes.
Outside of work Simon enjoys watching TV shows, Scuba Diving and fishing for that elusive big one.
